Things to do and see in Queenstown

Queenstown is situated in the Otago region on New Zealand’s South Island, nestled beside the beautiful Lake Wakatipu.

It has a modest population of 16,000, yet attracts over 3 million visitors annually. Given the wide range of attractions, it’s easy to see why tourism is thriving.

Renowned for its skiing, excellent wines, and stunning hiking trails, a visit to Queenstown promises a wealth of new adventures. The busiest time is summer, from December to February. However, Queenstown is also an ideal winter getaway, especially for ski enthusiasts.

Spend your day on the slopes at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables enjoying fresh mountain snow, then unwind with a glass of local Pinot Noir.
